Los Magistrados del Tribunal Supremo no pueden ser suspendidos de su empleo sino por la Corte Suprema de Justicia cuando contra ellos se haya dictado por autoridad competente auto de proceder por causa de responsabilidad o delito que merezca pena corporal o pérdida del empleo, ni pueden ser privados de él sino por sentencia judicial.
