Los animales que se rechacen en el examen ante-mortem serán sacrificados en el matadero donde se les inspeccionó, en lugar diferente al área normal de sacrificio, tomando las medidas sanitarias que aseguren la limpieza y desinfección del personal que haya intervenido en la matanza, de los utensilios y de las áreas del matadero que hayan estado en contacto directo con el animal. Las carnes, vísceras y demás componentes serán inutilizados en forma inmediata. La autoridad sanitaria competente vigilará la operación.
