A partir de la vigencia de la presente ley, los órganos del orden nacional de la administración pública solo podrán depositar sus recursos en la Cuenta Unica Nacional que para el efecto se establezca, a nombre de la Dirección del Tesoro Nacional, o a nombre de ésta seguido del nombre del órgano, o en las entidades que ordene el Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público, de acuerdo con la reglamentación que expida el Gobierno (Ley 38 de 1989, art. 82, Ley 179 de 1994, art. 55, incisos 3º y 18).
