Inversiones de capital indirectas . Las entidades sometidas a inspección y vigilancia de la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia que pretendan efectuar o aumentar inversiones de capital a través de sus filiales y subsidiarias en el exterior en entidades financieras, del mercado de valores, compañías de seguros, de reaseguros y en sucursales y agencias domiciliadas en el exterior, deberán someter a la autorización de la Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia tales inversiones cuando cumplan al menos uno de los criterios de materialidad establecidos en el presente decreto.
