Las autoridades de Comercio Exterior y de Desarrollo Económico, deberán respetar los conceptos técnicos del Ministerio de Transporte, sobre las necesidades de equipos y la calidad, antes de aprobar las importaciones, ensamble o fabricación de los mismos.

NOTA: Los cambios introducidos por los Decretos 1122 de 1999 y Decreto 266 de 2000, fueron declarados inexequibles razón por la cual el texto corresponde a la versión original de la norma.
