En el caso de que dos o más personas soliciten que se les adjudique una misma porción de baldíos, debe preferirse al que hizo primero su solicitud. Pero si éste la abandonare o no hiciere gestiones para llevarla adelante, por espacio de seis meses, puede darse curso a las otras peticiones, con prelación, según el orden en que fueron presentadas.
