Es auto interlocutorio la decisión que pone término a los incidentes que se admiten en los juicios.

Los autos interlocutorios que contengan decisiones que no puedan variarse con la sentencia definitiva se llaman autos interlocutorios con fuerza de sentencia definitiva.
