La visa de negocios permanente podrá ser otorgada por el Jefe de una Oficina Consular de la República, autorizado para ello por la Cancillería, a los titulares de pasaportes oficial, de servicio, especial u ordinario que vengan al país como representantes de entidades públicas o privadas extranjeras de carácter comercial o industrial. Esta visa tendrá una validez hasta de dos (2) años y permite a su titular salir del país cuantas veces sea necesario para el desempeño de sus funciones, sin permiso previo de la División de Extranjería del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad.
