Toda factura consular se presentará por cuadruplicado. Además de la certificación del original, cada ejemplar se sellará con el sello del consulado y el funcionario consular lo firmará para su identificación. El original se entregará al embarcador; el duplicado quedará en los archivos del Consulado; el triplicado se remitirá al Administrador de la aduana por donde haya de introducirse la mercancía; y el cuadriplicado se enviará a la dependencia del Departamento de Contraloría que tenga jurisdicción sobre la respectiva aduana.
