º. Delegaciones. El Instituto podrá mediante acuerdo de la Junta Directiva aprobado con el voto favorable de su Presidente, delegar en otras entidades descentralizadas territorialmente o por servicios el cumplimiento de alguna de sus funciones por solicitud de estas, o cuando considere que tal delegación es conveniente para asegurar la eficaz ejecución de sus actividades o para impedir la interrupción de servicio que presten otras instituciones que, eventualmente, desempeñen funciones similares a las del IDEMA.
