° El Instituto Nacional del Transporte podrá delegar funciones para determinado sector territorial, regional, departamental o para todo el País. La delegación podrá hacerse por término fijo o someterse al cumplimiento de condiciones suspensivas o resolutorias. Solo podrá ser permanente o indefinida cuando el Instituto conserve, según el artículo anterior, la facultad de reasumir la función o funciones delegadas. En el acto por el cual la Junta Directiva haga la delegación, deberá determinar taxativamente la función o funciones que se delegan y especificar las formalidades y requisitos que exige su ejercicio. Igual cosa hará en el texto del contrato cuando la delegación se haga por tal acto.
