Los Gerentes de los organismos ejecutores de carácter regional tendrán la calidad de empleados públicos. Serán nombrados para un periodo de dos años por el Ministro de Salud, de terna presentada por el Director General del Insfopal, en el cual incluirá el nombre del Gerente en ejercicio. Estos Gerentes podrán ser removidos por el Ministro de Salud antes del vencimiento del periodo, por necesidad del servicio, según lo solicitare el Director General del Insfopal, previa aprobación de la necesidad.
