Cursos para ascenso. Los Oficiales de los Cuerpos Ejecutivos y de Ingenieros de la Armada Nacional para ascender al grado de Teniente de Fragata deberán hacer y aprobar un curso que se denominará "Inicial de Capacitación", el cual tendrá una duración mínima de doce (12) semanas, la reglamentación académica que expida el Comando de la Armada, debe ser aprobado por el Comando General de las Fuerzas Militares.
