A la Contraloría General de la República corresponde lo relacionado con sistemas de contabilidad, fiscalización de fondos y fenecimiento de cuentas de los mismos Municipios, los cuales están en la obligación de rendir las cuentas y presentar los comprobantes que los Auditores Fiscales exijan, en conformidad con las leyes vigentes.
