En el caso de que el Gobierno obtenga economías en la pavimentación que permitan un costo unitario por kilómetro inferior a $12.000.00, las sumas sobrantes se invertirán en la continuación de los respectivos sectores de carreteras, dentro del mismo Departamento en que se haya obtenido la economía.
