Término de conservación. Los libros y papeles de los comerciantes podrán destruirse después de veinte (20) años, contados desde el cierre de aquéllos o la fecha del último asiento, documento o comprobante. No obstante, cuando se garantice su reproducción por cualquier medio técnico, podrán destruirse transcurrido el término de que trata el artículo 60 del Código de Comercio.
