Cuando el personal directivo a que se refiere este artículo estuviere inscrito en el escalafón nacional docente, podrá optar por la anterior remuneración o por el salario que le corresponda según el grado que acredite más el porcentaje por el ejercicio del cargo. Para este último efecto el cargo de Rector de Colegio Mayor equivale al de Rector de Establecimiento de Educación Media Vocacional y el de Director de Escuela al de Coordinador de dichos establecimientos.
