Art. 183. El que sustrajere, adulterare o destruyere acta de escrutinio o paquete de papeletas, sufrirá reclusión por seis a nueve años; si fuere la lista de individuos que pueden votar, ó algún otro documento eleccionario de los que se fijan en lugares públicos, la reclusión será de uno a cuatro años.

Si el responsable fuere empleado público, se aumentará la pena en una cuarta parte.
