Articulo 3º. El termino de duración de la Caja es de cincuenta años, contados desde el veinte (20) de noviembre de 1931. Dicho término podrá prorrogarse antes de su expiración, de acuerdo con la Ley 45 de 1923. Asimismo la Caja podrá disolverse antes del plazo indicado, por resolución tomada por la Junta Directiva y aprobada por el Gobierno Nacional y la Superintendencia Bancaria.
