En el mes de enero de cada año, formarán los Gobernadores de los Departamentos, Intendentes y Comisarios, y remitirán a la Contraloría General de la República y al Ministerio de Gobierno, para su publicación en el Diario Oficial , un estado que manifieste el movimiento de población que haya habido en cada uno de los Departamentos. Intendencias y Comisarías en el año inmediatamente anterior, conforme a los datos que han debido recibir, según lo establecido en el artículo anterior.
