Son faltas leves de los notarios las siguientes: 1º Embriagarse habitualmente; 2º Practicar juegos prohibidos; 3º Usar sustancias que produzcan dependencia física o psíquica; 4º. Vivir en estado de amancebamiento; 5º Concurrir a lugares indecorosos; 6º Practicar públicamente el homosexualismo; 7º Abandonar injustificadamente el propio hogar; 8º Solicitar o fomentar publicidad respecto de su persona o de sus actuaciones, sin perjuicio del derecho de rectificar o aclarar informaciones o comentarios relativos a ellos. 9º Emplear propaganda comercial o incentivos para que el público demande sus servicios. 10º Ejercer directa indirectamente actividades incompatibles con el decoro del cargo o que atenten contra sus dignidad.
