El Banco de la República redescontará con cargo al Fondo Financiero Agropecuario de que trata la Ley 5 a de 1973, sujeto a las condiciones y al cupo global de recursos que fije la Junta Monetaria, créditos destinados a financiar actividades de comercialización, transformación primaria y conservación de productos agrícolas, pecuarios, pesqueros y de agricultura, así como la infraestructura física que se requiere con estos fines.
