Los Notarios salientes deben entregar personalmente el archivo. Si por causa grave no pudieron hacerlo, lo harán sus apoderados, curadores, herederos o albaceas. La entrega deberá ser presenciada por el funcionario que designe el Ministerio de Justicia y del acta que se extienda se conservará el original en la Notaría, una copia se destinará para el Notario saliente y otra se enviará al Ministerio de Justicia por el funcionario que presenció la entrega. CAPITULO VII Objeto del Registro.
