Art. 166. El Jefe de la Aduana a quien se volviere una libranza dejada de cubrir en la Tesorería jeneral i

oficinas de recaudacion, procederá al cobro del valor capital e intereses, en virtud de su jurisdiccion coactiva, exijiéndolo indistintamente de los responsables.

Si los fiadores se hallaren en el lugar donde reside la Tesorería jeneral u oficinas de recaudacion, los Jefes de estas oficinas deberán retener las libranzas no pagadas i proceder a cobrarlas de los respectivos fiadores.
