En el marco de la relación docente-asistencial, las instituciones participantes en el convenio, deberán colaborar en la implementación de las guías de atención integral de las diferentes patologías, las cuales serán sometidas periódicamente a evaluación por un conjunto de expertos de las instituciones comprometidas. Estas pautas deberán consultar el perfil de morbilidad y buscar el mejoramiento de la calidad del cuidado de la salud, de acuerdo con las políticas establecidas por el Ministerio de Salud.
