Las oficinas seccionales del trabajo son órganos dependientes del Departamento Nacional del Trabajo y sometidas a las órdenes de éste. Tienen jurisdicción dentro de las zonas que el Ministerio les señale y les corresponde la administración local de los asuntos adscritos al Departamento Nacional del Trabajo, que se ejercerá conforme a la reglamentación -que dictará el Ministerio de Trabajo, Higiene y Previsión Social.
