La administración y representación del Instituto está a cargo de un Gerente nombrado por la Junta Directiva con el voto de las dos terceras partes (2/ 3) de sus miembros. El periodo de sus funciones será de dos años contados desde el primero (1o) de enero del año de su elección. Si pasados sesenta (60) días del vencimiento de su periodo no hubiere sido reemplazado, se entenderá reelegido para otro periodo igual.
