Oficiales de las Armas. Son Oficiales de las Armas en el Ejército, todos aquellos formados, entrenados y capacitados con la finalidad principal de ejercer el mando y la conducción de los elementos de combate y de apoyo de combate del Ejército, en todos los escalones de la jerarquía militar. Se consideran elementos de combate y de apoyo de combate del Ejército, los que operan dentro de las modalidades y características d la Infantería, la Caballería, la artillería y los Ingenieros.
