Art. 56. Las votaciones principiarán a las ocho de la mañana y se cerrarán a las cuatro de la tarde.

El tercer domingo de Mayo se verificarán las elecciones para Diputados y Concejeros municipales, y el cuarto domingo, para Representantes. El primer domingo de Diciembre de 1891 se verificarán las elecciones para Electores.
