º Corresponde al Ministerio de Educación Nacional llevar el registro de los monumentos nacionales muebles e inmuebles, establecido en el artículo 16 de la Ley 163 de 1959, así como certificar sobre la existencia o inexistencia de dicho registro respecto de bienes determinados. La falta de registro de monumentos muebles podrá ser considerada por la autoridad aduanera como una conducta encaminada a sacarlos ilegalmente del país.
