°. Las diligencias para la transmisión del dominio de baldíos por las causas expresadas en los cuatro primeros ordinales del artículo precedente y practicarán como se expresa en las respectivas leyes y decretos sobre la materia. La venta de tierras baldías por dinero se sujetará a las reglas siguientes: 1°. El área máxima de terrenos baldíos que puede venderse por dinero es de 5.000 hectáreas; 2°. Las ventas por dinero se harán por el Ministerio de Obras Públicas, en remate público, que debe ser aprobado por este y por el excelentísimo señor Presidente de la República, oyendo al Consejo de Ministros.
