El ingreso al servicio del Ministerio de Guerra se efectúa invariablemente por el nivel "A" de la escala de sueldos de que trata el artículo 13 de la Ley 68 de 1963, dentro de la categoría que corresponda al cargo. Quien reingrese al servicio lo hace en la categoría y en le nivel que poseía en el momento del retiro.
