El Gobierno o las mismas Gobernaciones señalarán las causas por las cuales pierde el poblador el derecho a uno u otro de los dos lotes. La pérdida del lote adjudicado dentro del área de la población, acarrea necesariamente la pérdida del adjudicado fuéra de ésta.
