Señálase como edad de retiro forzoso para los notarios, la de 70 años. El retiro se producirá a solicitud del interesado, del Ministerio Público, de la Superintendencia de Notariado y Registro o de oficio, dentro del mes siguiente a la ocurrencia de la causal, salvo que se trate de un notario en propiedad, caso en el cual podrá terminar el período en curso.
