Los médicos y demás personal científico que de manera continua presten sus servicios al instituto serán asegurados obligatorios y gozaran de las prestaciones que consagra la presente ley, pero deberán cumplir las obligaciones que ella impone. No quedan comprendidos en esta disposición los que estuvieren afiliados a la caja de previsión social de empleados y obreros nacionales o a otras instituciones similares de previsión social.
