Período de la junta . Los miembros principales y suplentes de la junta directiva serán elegidos por un periodo de un año y podrán ser reelegidos indefinidamente o removidos libremente antes del vencimiento de su periodo. Si la asamblea no hiciere nueva elección de directores, se entenderá prorrogado su mandato hasta tanto no se efectúe nueva designación y los elegidos sean declarados hábiles por la Superintendencia Bancaria. Una vez nombrados o elegidos, los directores deberán posesionarse y prestar juramento ante dicha Superintendencia.
