Artículo décimo. El beneficiado perderá el derecho a la Medalla Cívica del Mérito Asistencial y Sanitario Jorge Bejarano, por los siguientes motivos: 1º Haber sido condenado a pena corporal aflictiva por Jueces competentes. 2º Haber cometido actos públicos que lo hagan indigno del honor de pertenecer a la causa de la salud pública. 3º Haber ejecutado cualquier hecho que afecte la dignidad de la República y, en particular, la causa de la salud.

Decreto 1366 de 1966 · por el cual se reglamenta el artículo 9° de la Ley 12 de 1963, y se crea la Medalla Cívica del Mérito Asistencial y Sanitario Jorge Bejarano, como homenaje de la República a las personas que se distingan por sus servicios a la salud y asistencia públicas.
