Prohibición de la exigencia de carné o certificado de afiliación al Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud . Las Entidades Promotoras de Salud y los prestadores de servicios de salud no exigirán al afiliado carné o certificado de afiliación a la Entidad Promotora de Salud, para la prestación de los servicios que esta debe garantizar. La consulta de la afiliación al Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud se hará por parte de la entidad pública o privada que requiera conocer esta información, consultando en línea en los registros en la base de datos que determine el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social para el efecto.
