El artículo 57 del Código de Procedimiento Penal, quedará así:

Artículo 57. EFECTOS DE LA COSA JUZGADA PENAL ABSOLUTORIA. La acción civil no podrá iniciarse ni proseguirse cuando se haya declarado, por providencia en firme, que el hecho causante del perjuicio no se realizó o que el sindicado no lo cometió o que obró en estricto cumplimiento de un deber legal o en legítima defensa.
