El Presidente del Jurado de Votación que no entregue los pliegos correspondientes al Registrador Municipal, incurrirá en la pena de que trata el artículo 289 del Código Penal, y además será sancionado por el Registrador Municipal con una multa de quinientos pesos convertibles en arresto a razón de un día por cada cinco pesos. De las multas a que se refiere este artículo podrán los interesados apelar para ante los Delegados Departamentales.
