Los términos de que hablan los artículos 48 y 52 de la Ley 51 de 1898 , son improrrogables. Las pruebas pedidas pero no producidas dentro de tales términos no suspenden la actuación, pero el Juez las tendrá en cuenta si se presentaren antes de dictar sentencia.
