Las zonas francas como establecimientos públicos, estarán exentas del pago de impuestos, contribuciones, gravámenes y tasas de carácter nacional, salvo el impuesto a las ventas de que tratan los Decretos-leyes 1988 y 2368 de 1974 y las demás normales legales y reglamentarias sobre esta materia.
