A los alimentos obtenidos por biotecnología de tercera generación y/o procesos de ingeniería genética, se les otorgará Registro Sanitario previo estudio y concepto favorable de la Comisión Revisora Sala Especializada de Alimentos, conforme a lo establecido en el Decreto 0936 de mayo 27 de 1996, o los que los sustituyen, adicionen o modifiquen.
