Practicada la diligencia y firmada el acta, el funcionario que presidió aquella saca una copia del testamento y de todo lo actuado para conservarlo cuidadosamente en su archivo, y remite sin demora los originales al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, y éste, previa la autenticación de la firma del remitente, debe enviarlos al Juez del Circuito del último domicilio del finado en Colombia, a fin de que ordene el registro del testamento y la protocolización del mismo en la Notaría respectiva.
