El Administrador de la Aduana, bajo cuya custodia se halle mercancía retenida por contrabando o por infracciones administrativas, inspeccionará, periódicamente los sitios en donde se halle almacenada. Cuando advierta la ocurrencia de una de las circunstancias previstas en el artículo anterior, dará noticia de ello al Funcionario Instructor o al Juez en cuyo poder se encuentre el expediente y éste practicará inmediatamente una inspección ocular para verificar procesalmente el informe del Administrador.
