Los titulares de visa diplomática, oficial o de servicio que deseen permanecer en el país deberán dentro de los tres (3) meses siguientes a la terminación de sus funciones, solicitar al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores la concesión de una visa temporal que podrá ser expedida en el país.

Parágrafo

Se tendrá como fecha de terminación de funciones, la del aviso que dé la misión diplomática o consular, u organismo internacional al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores.
