El Grupo Interinstitucional de Protección estará integrado por representantes de las Direcciones de Justicia Transicional y Derechos Humanos del Ministerio del Interior y de Justicia, de la Policía Nacional, Fiscalía General de la Nación, Programa Presidencial de Derechos Humanos y Derecho Internacional Humanitario, Defensoría del Pueblo y la Comisión Nacional de Reparación y Reconciliación, CNRR. La Secretaría Técnica estará a cargo de la Dirección de Justicia Transicional del Ministerio del Interior y de Justicia.
