El gerontólogo acusado rendirá descargos ante el Tribunal Nacional deontológico o Comité de Ética de Gerontología y el Magistrado Instructor, en la fecha y hora señaladas por éste para los efectos y deberá entregar al término de la diligencia un escrito que resuma los descargos.
