Conforme al artículo 110 del Código Nacional de Policía, se prohíbe la publicidad de estupefacientes y sustancias psicotrópicas; así mismo, de acuerdo con lo dispuesto por el artículo 302 del Código del Menor, los diferentes medios de comunicación no pueden realizar transmisiones o publicaciones que inciten a los menores al uso de tales sustancias o que estimulen su curiosidad por consumirlas.
