Las casas comerciales que pongan en uso los franqueadores, extenderán, cada vez que se trate de hacer un nuevo registro de portes, una nota por duplicado en la cual conste la fecha del registro, el número de portes registradores, el valor parcial y total de éstos y el número de la máquina, nota que debe ser firmada por el empleado respectivo de la casa y por el funcionario postal. Un ejemplar quedará en poder de la empresa y el otro servirá de comprobante del ingreso en el expendio oficial.
